Mt Rattlesnake Race
The Mt. Rattlesnake race is named for a local mountain that is a short, easy hike that provides an easy hiking experience with a famously rewarding view. Similarly, the Rattlesnake race is geared toward young participants who are interested in experiencing the excitement of a triathlon, with event distances geared appropriately for a young or beginning athlete. The distances are: swim 50 yards, bike 1.4 miles, and run 1/4 mile.
The youngest racer in the 2011 Mt. Rattlesnake Race was 4, and the oldest was 12.
